As a former computer scientist at NASA, I was well-versed in logical thinking and data-driven decisions. But it wasn’t until I experienced a health crisis that I realized the limitations of conventional medicine. After battling debilitating migraines that doctors couldn’t explain, I turned to holistic health solutions. The more I studied, the more I realized that the answers I sought were not going to come from the very system I had once trusted. This led me to a complete career shift, where I began studying nutrition, herbalism, and holistic health to heal myself and eventually help others.


Today, I am a naturopathic herbalist, combining ancient wisdom with modern healing practices to guide people on their own health journeys. In this podcast, I shared how I went from being a patient looking for answers to becoming a holistic healer who empowers others to take control of their health.


Through my work, I focus on the concept of holistic health—addressing not just physical symptoms but also emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness. I also touched on the importance of detoxing from the various toxins in our environment, from food and chemicals to the stress of modern life. But my journey didn’t stop there. I dove into how the modern healthcare system is not designed to find root causes and how the influence of big pharma plays a huge role in shaping the treatment options available to us. The idea that health can be about more than just pills, but rather about total mind-body-spirit alignment, was a key part of our conversation.
