especially in the early stages when when fibroids are small but when there are symptoms they're usually they're usually like this they're usually heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding um bleeding or unusual discharge back or abdomen abdominal pain pain and bleeding during intercourse anemia swelling in the lower abdomen a frequent urge to urinate between between between periods and constipation so if you have these symptoms you know the heavy menstrual bleeding and menstrual periods lasting seven days or longer bloating or fullness in the stomach or pelvic region pelvic pressure or pain frequent urination uh difficulty um emptying your bladder um of course the constipation pain during intercourse even back ache or leg pains and and also reproductive issues including infertility and miscarriages it could be due to fibroids so now then what are the root causes of fibroids why do people get them in the first place and the main reason is because of relatively high levels of estrogen and low levels of progesterone and this is due to probably the biggest reason is through environmental estrogens and what does that mean probably the biggest reason is the consumption of um very poor quality meat and dairy especially red meat and dairy from cows that's from from cows that are basically pumped with hormones and just are fed a very unhealthy type of diet yeah that's probably the biggest reason one of the biggest things that you could do if you have fibroids if I had fibroids is to immediately stop eating all sorts all types of meat and dairy um that is not organic and grass-fed and um not free of growth hormones okay um but I would I would go further I don't think I would completely uh you know stop eating um all meat and dairy you know 100 percent but at least greatly reduce it maybe you know consume it only you know once a month on a special occasion um and you know for protein there's you know there's beans there's nuts there's a free range organic cage-free eggs and and free-range organic chicken wild eggs and salmon and other types of fish not farm-raised you know you eggs and don't want any kind of chemicals or um you know extra toxins as much as possible because that's just going to tax your immune system because your immune system already has to deal with this excess estrogen so all the other toxins that you're putting into your body through the chemicals um that are given um to poorly raised animals whether it be you know fish or chicken or you know any kind of animal that's only going to aggravate the situation um even more so definitely I would I would at least for a time kind of fast from especially red meat and dairy and flood my body with highly nutritious foods and um we'll talk more about that later but anyways let's go back to the root causes so environmental estrogen that's the biggest one obesity is also a major factor a lot of times the reasons for obesity can also lead to other issues you know a lot of times people when people are obese they may be eating a lot but they're not eating the kind of food that is going to be healing or healthy for them they're eating the kind of food that makes them obese okay and time kind that is um a big factor um when it comes to um when it comes to fibroids and again another reason for that is time kind you know the kind of foods that make you be obese are usually also the kind of foods that are void ovum of any real substantial nutrition and also our area are laden with toxins you know junk food another area issue is an underactive thyroid that's another um root cause also ovulatory dysfunction um perimenopause uh which is just natural you know um also a low fiber high fat diet especially bad fats there's good fats but we're talking about a high a high fat diet one that has very bad a lot too much omega-6 and you know go vegetable and corn oil fried foods stuff like that okay and also another factor is iodine deficiency so the two things that I would probably immediately start doing if I had fibroids is juicing and cleansing and what I like about these two things is that that you can do you can juice and you can cleanse almost from anywhere in the world when I recommend certain herbs oftentimes they're not available in certain countries but no matter where you're at in the world you can you can juice and you and cleansing for example um it's you know you do need a juicer but that's do need anywhere in most countries at least that I know of you know of can get a juicer and sure there's better ones that are more expensive but you know you just do what you have if you can't get a juicer you can get a juicer you is going to give you more of the nutrients that you need you will get um more of the fiber if you use a blender but you won't get as much nutrition and one of the key things is to give your body as much nutrition as possible because really the your body can heal itself as long as you stop poisoning it with toxins that it doesn't need and that's aggravating it and you know overburdening your system and when you start giving it or system and nutrition that it can use to heat-seals that's what you do when you when you juice and it should be fresh raw organic fruits and vegetables and you should also try to do as much green vegetables as possible you know especially leafy greens now right now I don't have the best juicer for leafy greens it doesn't get too much out of it so we'll do is we will actually juice things that it can juice well it caudiciform example carrots and beets and apples really well and then after that we will blend titulary greens such as kale and as kale collard greens and spinach and and spinach you know things like that because our juicer doesn't juice greens very well um green star that's a brand that we’ve had in the past and that does juice um greens very well it also our juicer also juices things like cucumbers and you know other things it juices somethings really well but not leafy greens so that’s that's how we juice in our family right now um and you know if you can't juice for some reason let's say you just don't you can get a juicer for very you know you very get a used one for very low cost nowadays but if you can’t then I would you know at least do a lot of um raw um organic fruits and vegetables and soups you know cooked uh soups like vegetable soups are also a good way to get a lot of the nutrition you know when you juice you get a lot of nutrition and you also get enzymes living enzymes and that are very good for you when you when you unmake soups you get a lot of the nutrition out that way too but you don’t get the wrong living enzymes out of it um and then when you get when you when you blend or when you eat things raw like inform you get less well you you get less nutrition with the salad um but you get more fiber and with um with smoothies you get um you g et nutrition not as much as juicing but then you also get the fiber so there's you know there’s good and bad too to all of them um for the most nutrition though raw juicing um is the best and it it's really important when you're trying to heal that you that you do try to get um organic and it doesn't mean it has to be organic labeled but you know if you buy fruits and vegetable vegetables from a farmer's market or a local farmer you can just ask them you know if they use pesticides and if they use go usually the answer is often no they don't they just but they just don't have um the money to pay for organic labeling okay so juicing that's a big thing that i would start right away and I think the second most important thing that you know people should do when they have fibroids or any other type of chronic disease is cleansing and the very first thing that you should start with is colon cleansing and this should probably be done on aon a very regular basis now um because I have a certain uh issue diastasis recti that requires me to take colon cleansing herbs on a regular basis um and soal most every day I I take colon cleansing herbst here's cascades cascaraand cena leaf you know prunes and prune juice there's different things that you can that you canuse to help you cleanse your colon i mean of course eating raw you know fibrous uh foods fruits and vegetables are also i'm going to be part of the clone cleansing but um there's a free book that shalom friends this is miami your naturopathic herbalist and i'm going to be sharing with you the second lesson in this series on fibroids uterine fibroids and in this lesson specifically we're going to talk about uterine fibroids during pregnancy because this is you know a very female disease pregnancy is possibly something that you can be going through while you are suffering from fibroids and sometimes fibroids can cause complications during pregnancy and labor and women are actually at a sixth time they're actually six times at greater risk of needing a cesarean section if they have fibroids fibroids can also contribute to infertility if they are very bad if they're severe and it's harder for an egg to become fertilized and then implant itself in the lining of the uterus if the woman has a large and hard fibroid there where it's trying to implant itself surgery cannot be performed once a woman is already pregnant because this can be a danger tothe baby and it can lead to too much blood loss and preterm labor now it's long been thought that fibroids increase the risk of miscarriage during the first and second trimester but there's been new meta-analysis that has shown that there is actually no significant increase in spontaneous miscarriage risk among women with fibroids compared to those without the issue is more of getting pregnant not having a miscarriage in the early trimesters now fibroids may increase increase the risk for preterm labor or complications during delivery including obstruction of the birth canal and remember you know fibroid can be very small and it can also be very big it can be the size of you know grapefruit or something like that if they're very severe however not every woman with fibroids who becomes pregnant will experience any serious complications or symptoms and actually 75 they saythat 75 of all women will experience some kind of fibroids in their lives so fibroids are actually very common i'd say they're not necessarily something to worry about if it's not very severe not very large i think at any stage if you do realize that you have fibroids and it's causing you any kind of discomfort or symptoms you should definitely do something about it because you know of course i believe that every sickness that one goes through is a weakness in one's immune system or one's body attempting to cleanse itself or deal with the toxins or the just the bad situation that the person may be in okay so it's every discomfort every pain you know everything is your body usually trying to tell you something okay so fibroids can increase in size during pregnancy due to increased levels of estrogen you know that may also have to do with whether or not you're having a male or
female now bleeding and abdominal pain might also occur during pregnancy if the fibroid begins to lose its blood supply and you know definitely any time that you are in pain especially during
pregnancy something definitely to pay attention to and of course doctors will will likely recommend more ultrasounds than normal if you have fibroids now in the last lesson or the first lesson actually which was the last one that i did on fibroids anyways
i talked about two of the most important things that need to be done right away if you have fibroids if i had fibroids if anyone had fibroids and they were juicing and cleansing and um i talked about i think i remember correctly i think i talked about the grisham method and i also gave a free resource that's online it was a pdf book and also some videos about starting with colon cleansing but you know by uh master
herbalist richard schultz i'm focusing on colon cleansing oth and also other types of cleansing for the body so juicing and cleansing and the purpose for juicing was to give your body the
nutrition that it needs in order to heal and the purpose for cleansing is to get rid of all the toxins that your body is having to deal with that the fibroids may actually be a response to maybe when your body can't
heal itself it will often respond by giving you a disease or giving you some kind of discomfort or symptom and this this is the case also with cancer and you know but metabolic diseases as well you're not giving it what it needs
and you're giving it too much of things that are toxic for it so then the question is are these two things safe to do while pregnant and my answer is yes while i am pregnant i do both juicing and cleansing
i do juicing and cleansing whether i'm pregnant or not or whether i'm breastfeeding or not so juicing and cleansing are completely safe of course i'm legally supposed to tellall my you know health coaching clients that you know they should check with a doctor and blah blah blah don't do
anything unless a doctor approves blah blah blah but for myself also that i do not see conventional medical doctors and when i give birth i have a midwife at home so i would have no problems
doing any juicing or cleansing i would not even check with the doctor to see if that's necessary because i know myself i know about holistic health and healing and i trust i trust that process now if you have any kinds of allergies or anything like that you know that is certainly something to consider
and also the thing about juicing is if you're not used to juicing if the very first time you've everjuiced will be that time you may have a severe reaction to it such as vomiting because and that happens sometimes even in my family if we haven't juiced in a long time and we take a lot of fresh juice sometimes a nauseous effect may happen or sometimes even maybe one of my
smaller children may throw up and so for me that's not a sign that there's something wrong it's just a sign that it's a shock and it may have been too much for my body or for my child's body at that time so what we'll do is we'll if you juice regularly then it's okay but if you haven't used in a long time or if it's your first time juicing i would say start small start with maybe
just one type of vegetable something easy like maybe just carrots you know you can even start with apples or oranges but really what you need is the greens so maybe add a cucumber in there maybe do some apple juice and blend it with some spinach or kale or you know something like that some some greens um and and start very small i mean we could start with maybe a quarter cup and then work yourself up to
a half cup for my family when we juice we'll make a lot and then the big people will have maybe one to one and a half cups of juice maybe even two one to two cups of juice and then the smaller children will have less than
that depending on their size and weight and age okay so and in terms of cleansing i colon cleanse all throughout my pregnancy um sometimes i will do a liver cleanse um once in a while i'll throw in some
herbs for kidney cleansing regardless of whether i'm pregnant or not if i feel like you know i need certain things now now if you are pregnant always best and why is to just start with small doses
and see how your body reacts but let me just say that herbs and vitamins juicing and cleansing are thousands of times safer than the injections i don't want to say the word the injections and the
pharmaceutical drugs that doctors usually advise women to take while they are pregnant for various reasons for example i had a very kind of a rare disease when i was pregnant called pups p-u-p-p-p-s i forgot what the acronyms stood for but and when i told my medical
doctor about it she recommended steroidal cream and that has side effects and i was like i'm not going to take that and so i researched on my own herbs that i could take um to to do it you know research what
the cause of it was and it was basically an excess of this isn't always why but for me i believe it was because of an excess of male hormones in my system so i would get these pups women who get the pups they more often get it when they are having a boy when they're pregnant with a boy and that happened to me as well i would get it when i had girls but i would get it more
severely when i was pregnant with a boy so anyways it doesn't matter though whether the pups is from an excess of hormones or an excess in some other type of toxin a cleanse is going to help to combat that so i i took some colon and liver cleansing herbs to fight that and i was able to safely with these herbs get rid of the problem myself i only need that needed the medical
doctor for the diagnosis of what it was but actually even now you know after having been nervous for a long time i don't i wouldn't even need really much of a diagnosis i know that most issues have to do with a lack of proper nutrition
and a need to cleanse and detoxify your body now that concludes this specific lesson and basically this lesson is to dispel fear in holistic health and healing methods during pregnancyand you know legally even though legally i have to advise people especially when i'm counseling with them personally to check with her doctor blah blah blah telling you i believe it's
a thousand times safer than anything any pharmaceutical drug that any medical doctor can prescribe to you in terms of whether you need c-section or not unless your that fibroid is very big and
very painful you know if it's not that big um i would say you might you know and i would definitely work with the doctor about that butyou know c-section or not you just have to take care of your own
health and also your baby's health c-section is not the end of the world although natural birth is better however if you do have to have essie section one of the problems especially when of course the recovery
time is much more it's much longer with a c-section which can be hard so i would make sure to make sure that you do what you can if you can to make surethat you still be able to breastfeed because oftentimes when women have c-sections they're not able to breastfeed because recovery is very painful
so that's i think i would say that's one thing to watch out for because breastfeeding is so important for you and your baby if you can't if for some reason you can't breastfeed right away pump pump for your baby so that at least they can get some of your breast milk in a bottle but as soon as
you can start putting your baby on the breast and another thing that i would uh really watch out for is something that is harmed by a c-section is is the baby's gut health because when a baby is born vaginally
the baby gets a natural boost of immunity through the mother's gut flora as the baby is passing through the birth canal there's a lot of good bacteria in your vagina that the baby basically
inhales you know through their nose and maybe through their mouth which they pick up while they're going through your birth canal so that is one thing that you will probably have to deal with if you give birth that
way um a very important way to combat that is when they're older i don't know i'm not sure if i would start it right when they're born but at some point you know you can give them baby probiotics
i would probably start that at like at least maybe one month wait at least one month maybe even more but if you breastfeed also they're goingto get a lot of good nutrients for their immunity another thing is i do not bathe my baby for
like a month i'll just spot clean my baby in certain places where they're dirty and i will i will wash their their bottom you know whenever they go poo so you know that those kinds of germs
and bacteria are gone but the kind that is in your house is very safe for the baby and they need good bacteria from their environment in order to build and maintain a healthy immune system so do not be obsessed at sanitizing yourself or your baby now you know i'm not saying to be a slob but i'm saying don't be a clean freak this is one of the reasons why our gut health today in the quote unquote modernized world it's one of the reasons why our health
is so bad it's because we have such poor gut health and also to avoid antibiotics because that also kills gut health and good gut health is going to be important for your baby's immunity and
it's also going to be important for your own health as well for the mother's health as well and the last thing that i would like to recommend in closing for this lesson is the book called
natural childbirth the bradley way by susan mccutchen this is going to be the best preparation i know to have a natural childbirth it'll tell you the timing it'll tell you exactly what's going on
in your body each step of the way if you can i would get a midwife so you can give birth safely at home and i would interview at least three of them and then choose the best one for you
i have found that the older midwives that have been practicing longer tend to have more confidence in helping women that may have certain problems for example i i interviewed a midwife once and i asked her about rich babies how how does she feel about breech babies and she's
like that's no problem whereas a younger midwife who hasn't been practicing long she said something like oh you immediately have to go to the and probably get a c-section because you have a reach reach breath
and so that's just the difference in experience between the two so an older more experienced person is probably going to be better if you have if you have complications but always remember you have to take your health into your own hands
and if you feel that you want to do something you have the right to and if you feel like you want to go to see a doctor then you should follow your conscience you are your your master your own master
um you don't have to you can get a second opinion no matter who you're talking to okay so that's all for this lesson and i'm gonna be talking in the future lesson i think i'll do one or two more
on this subject of fibroids are we talking about nutrition both ortho-molecular nutrition which is vitamin therapy megadose vitamin therapy as well as nutrition in terms of what you um should eat and not eat and also

so in this video lesson we're going to talk about foods that one should avoid because they make fibroids worse okay so these are foods that you should definitely eliminate or limit in your diet in order to reduce your risk and your severity of fibroids and also to start healing yourself um let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food right so um probably i think one of the worst offenders is um highly processed meats meats like sausages and hot dogs and deli meats these are some of the worst food choices that women can can have when it comes to fibroids foods that are high in un unhealthy chemicals and non-organic processed meats or trans fats um they can increase inflammation like things like breakfast sausages and bacon different things like that um hot dogs they can increase inflammation levels and processed foods in general not just the meats but most processed foods also contain chemical additives and other ingredients that promote inflammation so one should limit the amount of meat i would limit the amount of meat eaten and also include more plant-based protein now if you if and when you do eat meat i i love meat i i can't be vegetarian actually my body doesn't do well um i had a serious health crisis when i tried to go vegetarian so i i don't i never recommend extremes in diet um but i would say that when you if and when you do eat meat that um you always try to get organic grass-fed meat now let's talk about dairy conventional dairy or non-organic dairy is also very problematic it can be very high in steroids and hormones and other chemicals that may alter your hormone levels when eaten in high amounts and this encourages the development and growth of fibroids so um my family we only consume organic dairy products and we also try to get raw organic when possible and also instead of cow milk we do goat milk it's goat milk is a lot more natural to the human body it's closer to human breast milk than cows um you know goats are closer to humans in size for one so um i would definitely limit the dairy and any dairy that that i would consume if i had fibroids i'd make sure that it's organic and from grass-fed will raise well taken care of animals now one really really big culprit when it comes to sickness and disease is sugar refined sugar consuming lots of refined sugar white sugar things that have white sugar or high fructose corn syrup would be even worse um and even the fake you know the fake sugars like aspartame sweeten low nutra sweet those kinds of things those are also very bad because those are actually toxic chemicals and all these toxic chemicals are going to be very very it will aggravate the fibroids instead of help you heal from them so these these sugars and fake sugars can promote inflammation and lead to weight gain and it may also increase pain and reduce your body's natural immunity that can fight fibroids fibroids naturally if you know if it were given the proper nutrition and care and and um nutrients to heal itself herbs and supplements and you know what not there's an association between weight gain and hormonal imbalance and these two factors encourage the development of fibroids and studies have shown that a high dietary glycemic index is associated with higher risk of uterine fibroids so cut back on all the desserts you know um if you're going to do anything sweet stevia is actually really good for
helping with your glycemic index and um so i do stevia and natural you know local organic honey that's also another healthy sweetener those are the the top two um but anything you know packaged ice cream you know pies from the grocery store and stuff like that it's really it's really gonna be very detrimental um to one's health especially when trying to heal from fibroids or actually any other um type of disease cancer anything it it can cause
metabolic issues which can be the root of many types of problems not just fibroids or cancer but even diabetes and other and other things now very much like the refined sugar refined carbohydrates refined
carbohydrates like um white bread white pasta um we know things that are made with white flour most cookies and you know desserts again and even even bread even if it's not sweet you know these are refined carbohydrates
even white rice and managing hormones not only involves elimination of sugars from the diet but also refined carbohydrates your body treats these refined carbohydrates much in much the same way as sugar
refined white sugar so refined carbs um things made with white bread bleached flour especially cause insulin levels to spike and hormones to become just out of whack so consuming processed grains like those in instant hot cereals and commercial breads they can cause a very sharp rise in insulin and these refined carbohydrates have been stripped of everything but starch so they offer mostly empty calories and very little nutritional value and as as i've said in um i think probably the very first video lesson on fibroids what you really need to do is detoxify number one you know cleanse yourself that's our recommended colon cleansing and other types of cleansing but also flooding your body with nutrition and when you consume these refined carbohydrates it makes you feel full but yet it doesn't give you much nutrition at all so this is going to be very detrimental to your efforts in healing now um i think this should go without saying but just in case i'm going to say it you should also make sure that you are not consuming lots of alcohol drugs um even even medications even prescribed medications they can contribute because they are a toxin in your body um and uh even caffeine if you're taking too much caffeine um you know if there's if it's something in your body that is bad for your liver like alcohol is unlike the medications are um you should you should seek to reduce or minimize it now i can never advise anyone to get off their medication if you um you know you should talk to a medical doctor in order to do that um uh now there are some people who who take charge and take the matters into their own hands and you know start slowly reducing um their medications themselves and everyone has the constitutional right to do that in america and just you know autonomy over their own body to do that if they want um i don't see medical doctors so that's something that i would do but you have to be very careful and that's why i always advise people to see a medical doctor and um you know a lot of times their their own medical doctor will not be helpful in that what i i would just say keep shopping around until you find someone who is willing to help you and oftentimes there's doctors who are naturopaths or you know studied in herbalism and nutrition and whatnot what are also medical doctors it's very rare but um but it can be done it can be found but at least you know reduce or limit alcohol and you know things that you know you can very very safely would you like to become the healer of your home and your community and create a profitable online name of evan schute and she wrote a book called the vitamin e story and she discusses how fibroids are probably caused by vitamin e deficiency vitamin e is very intimately involved with the body's hormonal balance vitamin e rich foods include wheat germ oil this is a good one as one tablespoon contains 20.2 milligrams which is 101 percent of the recommended daily value however note that for healing you should be getting much more than the minimal daily value but i'm just trying to say that wheat germ oil has a high concentration of vitamin e another really good vitamin e-rich food are sunflower seeds my kids love this snack almonds we like to use raw organic almonds in our smoothies and the reason why i'm giving you all these suggestions is because i have found that a lot of these are very easy to incorporate they're delicious and sometimes it's hard to especially if you're you're a mother of many children like myself it's hard to eat only for yourself and and cook a separate meal for your family but a lot of these foods they can be incorporated in such a way that you can make something not only for yourself but you know it's healthy for your whole family um hazelnuts are also vitamin e rich this is probably my favorite nut hazelnuts spinach there's so many great ways to eat spinach from smoothies to omelets that's how we do it avocado i eat avocados for breakfast lunch dinner and dessert i mean not every meal but i have ways to eat avocados for breakfast lunch dinner4 and dessert turnip greens are another one butternut squash oh my goodness my mouth is watering just talking about these foods we bake butternut squash and then peel and remove the seeds and then we blend it up with our vitamix with some raw milk or cream pink salt and maple syrup garlic and onion powder and then we eat it with some organic bourdough so yummy so anyways we have butternut squash we have pine nuts which are great in pasta or salad palm oil i just read today that in indonesia which is the largest exporter of palm oil they're going to stop exporting palm oil which actually means that the price of palm oil is probably going to be going up but this is a really good source of vitamin e and of course remember again make sure to get organic um peanuts now i know a lot of people
have allergies to this but it's also a source of vitamin e also olive oil just great on salads and salmon and now note about olive oil is that it has a low smoking point which means that you should not heat it up very much when i use olive oil for cooking i'll use it you know only cook up to 350 degrees um with it and it's better though to just use it raw not cooked um like on salads or you can put olive oil on your fish after it's done cooking things like that okay mango one of my favorite fruits might be my very favorite also good for vitamin e sweet potatoes or from our family loves sweet potatoes um with some raw farm fresh butter and mineral rich grade b maple syrup and tomatoes who doesn't love tomatoes another good thing you should be eating are sea vegetables and leafy greens now sea vegetables like kelp wakami and nori are high in iodine and this is a mineral that's important for thyroid health and hormone health can help you support you while you're battling with fibroids and my children also they love nori and seaweed sushi stuff like that um vitamin k also from leafy greens will encourage proper blood clotting and may reduce an excessive flow of anti-inflammatory and help discourage fibroid growth okay now in my family we take various powdered greens and we get that from pacific botanicals.com in our morning drink and we include both sea you know sea vegetables as well as leafy greens in that just go to pacific botanicals.com and then i think there's a place that says purchase or shop or something like that or buy herbs and then go to the section that says superfood or superfood powder or something like that now let's talk about even more vegetables that you can be eating for fibroids research from epidemiological investigation shows that a high consumption of broccoli cabbage chinese cabbage tomato and apple seemed to be a protective factor for uterine fibroids this means that a greater intake of fresh fruits and cruciferous vegetables may be able to reduce the incidence of uterine fibroids fruits and vegetables such as apples cherries broccoli cauliflower brussels sprouts have the phytochemical indole-3-carbinol and this helps your liver to detox from excess estrogen and they're delicious now also beta-carotene rich foods like carrots sweet potatoes kale and spinach promote the growth and repair of healthy tissues which can be very helpful for treating fibroids and also beets carrots artichokes dandelion greens oh i love dandelion greens my friend she when she comes over she'll pick the dandelion leaves from my backyard and make a delicious salad out of it and of course we don't use any pesticides or anything on our grass so it's safe to do that so dandelion greens onions and garlic these are all foods that stimulate liver
detoxification that's a very a very important part of healing from fibroids as well as other diseases as well now flax seeds flax seeds are good sources of phytoestrogens substances that regulate the body's estrogen production and essential fatty acids and flax seeds have been shown to help balance estrogen levels which can help shrink fibroids you can aim for at least two tablespoons per day if you already have fibroids you can sprinkle flax seeds on oatmeal in your smoothies or simply eat the seeds by themselves or in salads i love flax seeds in my oatmeal just discover that and it's so delicious now it's best to get flax seeds that are whole and then grind them up yourself it's fresher it's more nutritious that way but of course you know if it's more convenient for you just at least make sure you're getting organic now let's talk about iron-rich foods fibroids sometimes cause some women to lose more blood during their monthly menstruation and this can lead to anemia so to replace the excessive loss of iron due to increased bleeding you should include high iron foods like grass-fed beef and legumes in your diet now also when women are pregnant they are in need of more iron than normal women very often have anemia during pregnancy and it's much better to get this from food than from pills a lot of women they cannot tolerate pills iron pills that doctors give to them but you know the organic grass beef um legumes and those those greens are going to be really good for for iron and lastly we should also talk about whole grains if you have you're battling with fibroids you should be eating whole grains instead of grains that are stripped of the fiber eat brown rice instead of white rice there's also red rice wild rice all kinds of wonderful types of rice you need the fiber to help cleanse your system and also for the added nutrition there's also whole grains like millet spelt buckwheat rye and oats okay now these are iron fiber um as i said they have more minerals and they also tend to be much less processed which is another reason you want to eat foods in their purest form possible to get the maximum benefit from them and the least amount of toxins and chemicals from the processing if you recap everything again that we learned in this lesson i'm going to try to eat only organic vegetables meat and dairy now i know that it's hard to do that a hundred percent but aim for as much as possible aim for ninety percent or aim for a hundred percent and if sometimes you know ten percent of the time you can't don't worry about it try to do it as much as possible eat organic okay and also nothing we didn't mention here but try to eat natural simple foods that are homemade instead of canned or backed or you know in a box or anything like that
because those types of foods will have more processing even if they are organic they'll still you know have a lot more chemicals because of the processing to get them in that shelf-stable position okay so eat only organic as much as possible and in its natural form homemade also eat vitamin e rich vegetables eat lots of vegetables different kinds of vegetables sea
