The Meaning of “Arukah”

Arukah (אֲרוּכָה) is a Hebrew word meaning complete and enduring restoration.
It appears in Scripture to describe not just recovery, but full renewal and divine harmony:

“Then your arukah shall spring up speedily.” — Isaiah 58:8

While refuah means healing and marpe means remedy, arukah represents the result — a state of total, lasting wholeness.

This concept is the foundation of The Arukah Method™, which teaches healing through all five levels of the soul: Nefesh (Body), Ruach (Spirit), Neshamah (Mind), Chayah (Purpose), and Yechidah (Oneness with the Creator).

After a severe health crisis in 2005 that conventional medicine could not solve, Mayim applied her scientific mindset to studying nutrition, herbalism, and orthomolecular medicine. Guided by faith and relentless curiosity, she healed herself — and discovered her divine purpose: to help others do the same.

Mayim has been faithfully married since 2003 and is the mother of seven children, all raised holistically — without vaccines, pharmaceutical drugs, or regular doctor visits. Six were born naturally at home. Her family’s thriving health stands as living proof of the Arukah lifestyle.
